This happens every day. The answer to each one is a number:
The name, the amount, how many days: “67 days”. Not roughly — the exact number of days.
The program shows what should be there, you enter what you counted. The gap shows: 4 manats short, or 20 over.
The sale does not stop: it is saved on the device and sent on its own when the line comes back.
You enter the count from the shelf and the program works out the difference. What is about to run out is listed on its own.
Zerb doesn't solve these on its own. It shows each one on one screen. See it, fix it.

The live demo below did not open in your browser. No harm done — here are the seven moments of the day:
This simulation sends nothing and remembers nothing — no name, no phone number, no cookie. Reload the page and the day starts from zero.
Ten jobs. Every one of them grew out of a real shop problem — none was added because it “would be nice to have”.
Scan the barcode and it lands in the basket. Type “İ” and products starting with “i” are found too.
Who, how much, and since when. After 30 days it turns red. The reminder text opens ready in WhatsApp.
A Z-report at the end of the day: expected cash, actual cash, over/short. The gap is not hidden.
You ordered 10, seven arrived: seven is what gets recorded. The other three stay waiting.
A customer brings something back: stock and cash correct themselves. If it was bought on credit, it comes off the debt too.
One sale, up to three payment methods: cash + card + credit. Only the cash part reaches the till report.
End of day, profit, purchase liabilities. All of it to Excel and CSV, sales receipts to PDF as well. The data stays in your hands.
When the internet goes, the sale joins a queue. It is sent on its own when the line returns. In a real shop, not one sale has passed through that queue yet.
Sign-in is by PIN, and every sale keeps a record of who rang it. You choose which sections the cashier will not see: reports, profit, till history.

This is a simulation — not real shop data
The live demo in this section did not open. Everything Zerb does is in the list above.
All three work. But two of them have never been used by a real business. And after the sale is the wrong time to find that out.
Barcode, credit, till, stock — all of it works. It can be used today.
Open a table, add the dishes, send a ticket to the kitchen, split the bill, close it at the till — offline too. You switch it on in Settings. No real restaurant has used it yet. There is no floor plan, no bookings, and selling a dish does not take its ingredients out of stock. The kitchen ticket prints on an ordinary printer.
A price of its own for every customer, invoices, both VAT modes — all there. You switch it on in Settings. No real wholesaler has used it yet.
Seven questions — including the ones whose honest answer does not help us.
Zerb is not a certified fiscal solution. Receipts are not fiscalised and carry no genuine fiscal ID or QR code. Zerb is your internal management system — it does not replace a fiscal register. If you have a fiscal obligation, it remains separate.
This is the program's own warning — with two explanatory sentences added on top. Not a word of it was softened, set in small type or hidden.
Zerb is not heavy software — it runs in the browser on the shop's own computer. No separate server, no cloud subscription and no powerful machine are needed.
We are not yet stating exact minimum requirements (Windows version, RAM) — because we have not genuinely tested them across different computers. Once we have, a precise figure will appear here. We do not want to invent one.
On your computer. There is no cloud for sales data. Your sales, your customers and your prices are not on our server — because they never go there.
Nothing. It keeps working. Zerb works with your computer, not with the internet. You can try it yourself in the simulation above — step 5.
The cashier screen is built for one job: selling. The sections a cashier does not need are hidden: reports, profit, till history. What gets hidden is your choice.
We do not put a number on the learning time — we have not measured it yet. “Learned in 15 minutes” would be easy to write, but we do not have that figure.
They get moved across. We have done it once already: 2440 barcode lines from an old list were read in. Several barcodes for the same item were merged, which left 1578 products. Not one error. If you have an Excel or CSV file, we can move yours too.
Your data is already yours. On top of that: export to Excel at any time, plus a full backup file. There is no lock-in. If you leave, you take everything with you.
No advertising — facts.
The figures above are counted by the program itself, not typed in by hand. The file that counts them is open: scripts/site-stats.py. On this site, an out-of-date number counts as a lie.
